"The familiar atmosphere was heartwarming, and it felt like a remarkably flat organization."

"My journey at SEB began as a working student in the legal department at SEB Stockholm—a role that quickly evolved into full-time coverage during my colleague’s maternity leave. As I completed my law degree, SEB offered a permanent position as a financial markets lawyer. I decided to take this opportunity as SEB has a very strong position within that field.  So, I had several positions within the bank and in terms of career steps, I deeply appreciate the opportunities provided to young professionals in SEB.

The idea of a job rotation initially surfaced informally, but it turned out to be a fantastic career opportunity. Working in Germany was truly eye-opening. The familiar atmosphere was heartwarming, and it felt like a remarkably flat organization. We had a lot of dialogues and spontaneous meetings. This close collaboration made the relationship between the legal team and the business even stronger.

For me, a legal career is all about continuous learning and diving deeper into knowledge. It’s like a never-ending quest, where each case and each contract adds another layer to our expertise."
